In order to facilitate operational safety, lasting and strengthening competitiveness and to facilitate employees' success, the management of Nitrogénművek Zrt. announced its decision to make quality an essential element of corporate operations, therefore quality has been an important part of its strategy. The Company management seeks to implement a full-range quality policy and intends to channel the attention of all employees towards quality-conscious work as one of the key elements of business success.

The commitment of Nitrogénművek Zrt.’s management is demonstrated by the numerous systems introduced between 1997 and 2002. In 1997, we were the first to introduce and certify the ISO 9001 quality management system. Subsequently, the ISO 14001 environmental management system was introduced and certified in 2000.
Since February 2003 the SAP integrated corporate governance system has been successfully in place.
Our Environmental and Fertiliser Testing Laboratory is registered by the National Accreditation Body (NAT) under the number NAT-1-1031/2012 and holds an accredited status under MSZ EN ISO/IEC 17025.
The excellent work performed by our mechanical plant is demonstrated by its certification under MSZ EN ISO 3834-2, as well as MSZ EN 729-2 for factory competence (a competence certificate for metal welding and other related activities).
In 2003 our company participated, with the aim of presenting its results achieved in quality management and the culture of quality, by choosing the self-evaluation methodology based on the National Quality Award, in the Veszprém County Quality Award tender launched by the Veszprém Country Chamber of Commerce and Trade and the Veszprém County Local Government, where it won a prize in the “large producer company” category. Then, as the next success in its quality management and business activities and as a moral award, it won the newly-launched Central Transdanubia Regional Quality Award, which was awarded by the panel to Nitrogénművek Zrt. in the category of large companies.
Thus Nitrogénművek Zrt. served as the first example in the Central Transdanubia region, by successfully applying self-evaluation based on European standards, and by transferring its experience gained in this regard.
In order to keep customer trust and to meet their needs as far as possible, the Company’s management are committed to and active in the operation and continuous development of the quality management system , and to this end it operates a governance system complying with the MSZ EN ISO 9001:2009 standard’s requirements, the successful renewal audit of which took place in December 2015.
It intends to demonstrate the standards achieved to its business partners credibly and continuously and therefore it subjects the operation of its quality management system regularly to audits by an internationally recognised certification body (TÜVCERT certificate).
Increasing customer satisfaction is an important challenge, therefore we continuously assess customer needs. We seek to fully meet customer demand and increase partner satisfaction by organising customer events, contacting customers directly, consulting and by providing new products for trials.
